Today marks the start of my fourth week here at Wentworth. While sitting here in the library I’m trying to figure out how the time has passed so quickly. I feel as if i moved in just yesterday and began to explore the city of Boston. Moving into school was surprisingly easier than I thought it would be with multiple staff members assisting you at every step of the way. I grabbed my keys and my ID, unloaded my things and made my way over to Tudbury Hall where I will be living for the next year. Alongside me were 9 other girls moving into the same suite as me. We unloaded our things, said goodbye to our parents and quickly became a great group of friends. Living in a suite here at Wentworth is amazing because you get the experience of living with a roommate and bonding with them, as well as having a great group of friends within your suite to rely on.
The first couple weeks were a lot easier than many of us had expected. Transitioning from summer mode to taking classes for the first time at college was not as hard as I thought it would be. Because Wentworth has such a small campus I was able to find all my classes right away. Going into college I expected large classes where I would not know the professor and too many faces I did not recognize but I love it here because that is not the case. On a typical day I will see many familiar faces while walking to class and am actually able to have conversations with my professors during class. The past 3 weeks have been packed full of long nights filled with homework but also many great memories with the friends that I have made here already. I am excited to see what the next few weeks with bring for me here as I get deeper into my classes and experience college life.
